Welcome to the website

I have decided it is high time I write a more detailed blog...

Firstly, welcome to the website, I hope you enjoy perusing the photos, videos, and so on. Don't forget - there is currently the chance to download two of my tracks - "So What Now" and "Drifting" for zero pennies.

Secondly, I would like to provide a little background to the site. You may have noticed that my free demo appears in conjunction with Creative North Yorkshire, as does the website itself. This is because I was fortunate enough to be accepted onto their project 'Extending Practice', where I was provided with mentoring sessions. The result of these mentoring sessions included, amongst many other things, the track "Drifting", recorded by Northumberland duo Landermason, and the website design and creation by folk musician Rebekah Findlay. Websites for both artists can be found on the 'links' page.

The other track that is featured on the demo, 'So What Now', was recorded and produced by Softwhere (link for them too, check them out!), who also created the fantastic black and white video for the song, which I absolutely love, and hope you enjoy too! Finally (I think...), the 'official photos' of me looking wistful in the park were taken by a brilliant photographer and good friend of mine, Milka Syntia.

Since the website went live, I have been very busy writing new songs, beginning recording my first album, and collaborating with many, many musicians on their music and my own. Planning to get a bit of a taster of some of these efforts online soon so I can share them with whoever wants to listen!

Finally, I'd just like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved who made the website and all its contents happen. Long may it continue to develop!

That's it for now, come back soon! x X x
